Our Process

Our more than 30 years of combined experience has taught us that no two projects are alike. But it’s also taught us that by using a tested scientific process, we can solve any moisture and mold problem.

Phase 1: Identification and Analysis

Our process starts with a full inspection of your structure, noting visible problem areas. Where we can’t reach, we use borescopes (tiny, pinpoint cameras) and thermal imaging to get a picture of how moisture is entering your home.

When necessary, we conduct a complete mold and air sampling. Our accredited laboratory identifies the species so we can tackle the problem with the proper protocols.

At the end of Phase 1, you’ll receive a comprehensive report outlining all findings and the scope of our proposed work—accompanied by an accurate cost estimate, of course.

Phase 2: Remediation

Based on our analysis, a unique plan is devised to address your specific needs, including the use of equipment like air scrubbers, negative air machines, and HEPA vacuums—protocols that meet or exceed all industry standards.

Our crews then work to remediate your problem. On time, and on budget.

When necessary, containment areas are custom-built on-site to ensure mold spores do not enter unaffected areas, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

Phase 3: Clearance Testing

When necessary, samples are collected and sent to a certified lab to ensure treated areas have been properly cleaned. We use methods such as tape lifts, bio-aerosol cassettes, or swab lifts to verify your structure as “clean.”

Mold never sleeps. Fortunately, neither does science.

We’re confident we’re at the top of our game, but we always know there’s more to learn. So we constantly monitor the research of the nation’s leading microbial scientists to help us seek out and discover the leading edge of mold remediation and prevention technologies. Just one of the reasons why we have full-time Environmental Hygienists on staff. This is not a side business for us, or an added “service.” This is our livelihood.

We make mold our problem. Not yours.

We’re homeowners and business owners too, so we know how disruptive contractors can be to your life. We work hard to make sure that almost all remediation activities can be completed within just a few days. And it doesn’t have to be a destructive process. (In fact, it rarely is.) In those cases, JCN oversees all aspects of the work. When required, we work with qualified contractors who meet our same professional standards to help return your structure to its original state. When we’re gone, it’s like we were never there. Except that the mold and moisture are gone too.

Imagine a world where contractors actually answer the phone.

In almost all cases, our professional staff will answer your phone call promptly. If you should need to leave a message, you will most likely be contacted by close of business on the day you call.

Mold should be your last unpleasant surprise.

We truly believe we provide the best service in the business, but we don’t inflate our prices to take advantage of our success.

Every employee at JCN is ethically committed to never charging a customer for needless work, and we finish all jobs on time and within proposed pricing. Again, it may not be what you’re used to, but for us, it’s just good business. If you’re worried that mold remediation is going to break the bank, contact us for an estimate. We think you might be surprised at how affordable our solutions can be.
